The 17th Annual Bus Roadeo was held in the parking lot of the Spearfish Holiday Inn and Conference Center on Saturday, September 23. Attendance was up from last year with a total of 50 participants. The winners will proceed to the national competition in Reno, NV next May.
Thank you to all who volunteered to judge the various Roadeo events. Volunteers included vendors, project directors, and employees, state DOT employees and many CTAA board members.

- 3rd Place – Ron Gieser, West River Transit, Bismarck

- 5th Place – Lloyd Hintz, Senior Meals & Services, Devils Lake
South Dakota
- 1st Place – Carl Rathbun, River Cities Transit, Pierre
- 2nd Place – Garland Schrank, Palace Transit, Mitchel
- 3rd Place – Arnold (Bud) Juenger, Aberdeen Ride Line, Aberdeen
- 4th Place – Lance Kuper, River Cities Transit, Pierre
